Originally from Iowa City, Iowa, Lou discovered her love for hairstyling at a young age after being inspired by the hairstylist her family had always gone to. She loved everything about the salon experience and knew she wanted to create that same feeling for others one day. While attending PCI in Iowa City, Lou began working alongside her longtime inspiration and quickly knew she had found the career for her.

After graduating in 2023, Lou began building her career behind the chair, combining her creativity with her love of connecting with people. She specializes in lived-in color, with a focus on creating beautiful, low-maintenance looks that fit seamlessly into her clients’ everyday lives. She believes hair color should be one less thing to worry about, especially with a busy schedule.

For Lou, the best part of being a hairstylist is meeting new people, making them feel confident, and helping them leave the salon feeling like their best selves.

When she’s not behind the chair, you can find Lou trying new restaurants around the city, thrifting, or going on a good, long walk. She’s also a proud cat mom to Vinny, her grey cat who she adores, even with his crazy attitude.
