CUT / EDUCATOR
Eliza is a native Texas who moved to the Twin Cities to begin her career at the Aveda Institute. She has since completed advanced training among the best educators and mentors in Minneapolis and serves as an in-salon educator for our apprentice program.
She has completed education courses in San Diego at The Factory with DJ Muldoon, as well as a multi-day intensive course in Nashville, TN with internationally recognized salon owner and stylist Jon Reyman. She has also had the opportunity to learn from Vivienne Mackinder, Sonya Dove and many other stylists who have taught wonderful classes at Haus Salon.
The pursuit of education as well as teaching fellow stylists motivates Eliza to approach hair from an analytical standpoint. As an educator, Eliza has found a true passion in breaking down the fundamentals of haircutting and helping others build a repertoire that will enable them go on to become successful hairdressers in their own right.
Drawn to the design and movement of a great cut, she seeks to understand each client's aesthetic. Whether one's personal taste is bold, blunt, soft or disheveled, she believes hair is meant to be enjoyed.
Eliza particularly enjoys cutting short men's and women’s cuts, classic or textured bobs and creating beautiful layers. If you want to reign in thick hair or bring fine hair back to life, she looks forward to working with you to achieve the desired result.
