VAMP (PDRN): A Simple Add-On That Makes a Real Difference

VAMP (PDRN) is one of those small additions we keep coming back to at HAUS. It supports your skin's natural healing process, helps encourage collagen production, and improves overall skin quality. We especially like adding it to microneedling appointments.
Here's what it actually is, why we pair it with microneedling, and what you can expect if you try it.
What Is VAMP (PDRN)?
VAMP is a sterile, topical bio-revitalizing solution made with a blend of vitamins, amino acids, minerals, and PDRN, short for polydeoxyribonucleotide. It's designed to help skin rejuvenate itself: improving tone, tightening the look of pores, smoothing wrinkles, and restoring hydration and glow.
One important note: VAMP is derived from salmon, so it cannot be used on anyone with a salmon allergy.
What Is PDRN?
PDRN stands for polydeoxyribonucleotides, which are low molecular weight fragments of DNA extracted from wild salmon. It's a purified compound derived from salmon DNA. That might sound strange at first, but salmon DNA is very similar to human DNA, which makes it well tolerated by the skin. It’s highly purified and biocompatible, helps fight the signs of aging, and works to tighten and improve skin elasticity.
A few things worth knowing: VAMP is currently the only medical-grade PDRN available in the US. It also helps create new fibroblasts in the skin, which is a big deal because fibroblasts are what your body uses to build collagen and elastin, so this can actually improve the results of the collagen and elastin treatments you're already doing. PDRN has also been one of the most popular ingredients in Korean skincare over the last decade.
Why VAMP is an Add On to Laser and Microneedling
Microneedling already does a lot on its own. It creates thousands of tiny, controlled channels in the skin, which is what triggers your skin's own collagen and elastin production in the first place. Those same channels also happen to be the reason VAMP works so well right after. Once the skin has those micro-channels open, VAMP can get down into the tissue instead of just sitting on the surface like a regular serum would. So instead of two separate treatments, you get one that builds on the other.
Microneedling and laser treatments both create those channels as part of the treatment itself, which is exactly why VAMP only makes sense paired with one of those two services. It's not something we sell to take home.
What About Laser?
VAMP works well after laser treatments too, for a similar reason. Laser treatments create their own microchannels in the skin, so the timing lines up the same way it does with microneedling. VAMP settles into the skin barrier afterward and helps support the healing process while the results from your laser treatment continue to develop.
How It's Performed
Your Microneedling or laser treatment happens as usual. Once that's done, VAMP is applied topically to the skin, similar to how exosomes are applied at the end of a treatment. It's a quick step added onto the appointment you already booked.
Pricing and Booking
VAMP is booked as an add-on to Microneedling or laser treatments. Here's how it breaks down:
1 vial covers face, or face and neck
1 vial covers décolletage
If you're doing face, neck, and décolletage, you'll need 2 vials
Each vial is $250
The add-on option covers 1 vial. If you need a second vial (for example, face + neck + décolletage), that's booked as a separate, stand-alone add-on.
What Healing Looks Like
Everyone's skin heals a little differently, but this is roughly what to expect:
Right after treatment: some redness or warmth, similar to a mild sunburn
Within 24 hours: most people are back to their normal routine
The first few days: skin starts its natural repair process
Over the next 4-6 weeks: results continue to build as collagen production picks up
Most people notice a difference after one session, but a series of three to four treatments spaced about a month apart tends to give the best long-term results.
A Good Reset After Summer
