VI PEELS
The VI Peel® contains a synergistic blend of powerful ingredients suitable for all skin types and tones. It is a skin-resurfacing chemical peel that stimulates collagen and increases cellular turnover to reveal smoother and more radiant skin. VI Peel has a peel for each skin concern. With five custom blends targeted for each patients’ needs, VI Peel helps treat all skin concerns such as aging skin, active acne, acne scarring, melasma, sun damage, and much more.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Upon receiving your VI Peel, the first two days your skin will look a little tan, bronzed, or pink. It may also feel a bit tight before the peeling begins. As a rule, treat it like a sunburn: avoid sun exposure, avoid sweating, avoid heat, and avoid wearing makeup for the first 72-96 hours. Typically, peeling begins on the third day, starting around the mouth then peeling outward. By day six most exfoliation has subsided. You will be given a complimentary Aftercare Kit of skincare products to expedite the healing process for ideal results.

Contraindications:
• Less than 18 years of age
• Pregnancy or lactation
• A phenol, glycolic acid, lactic acid, mandelic acid, trichloroacetic acid, aloe vera, or allantoin allergy
• Use of isotretinoin (Accutane) within the past 6 months
• Warts, open wounds, rash, active sunburn or wind burned skin in treatment area; or history of herpes simplex outbreaks
• Undergoing chemotherapy and or radiation therapy within 6 months
• Lesions suspected of malignancy or active melanoma(s)
• Keloids, a history of keloids, hypertrophic scars
• History of an autoimmune or liver disease/disorder (i.e. Lupus, Scleroderma, Diabetes, Hepatitis, etc), as well as any condition that may weaken the immune system (i.e. HIV, etc)
• Recent Ablative Dermal Procedures or active skincare treatments in treatment area
• Waxing that has been performed within 1 week pre or 2 weeks post VI Peel Body service in treatment area
