MICRONEEDLING

Microneedling, also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, is a minimally invasive skin-rejuvenation procedure for the treatment of wrinkles, fine lines, and acne scars. Microneedling involves the production of thousands of controlled microscopic needle incisions to the skin to induce a controlled injury response within tissue to stimulate the rebuilding of new collagen and elastin. The result is smoother, firmer and younger looking skin, diminish scarring, and decreased hyperpigmentation.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Upon receiving your Microneedling service, your treatment area will immediately have a slight wind burn feeling and show signs of redness that will appear similar to a moderate sunburn. There may also be some slight swelling. The redness and swelling will begin to subside 24-48 hours after the treatment and diminish usually by the third day. As a rule, treat it like a sunburn: avoid sun exposure, avoid sweating, avoid heat, and avoid wearing makeup for the first 72-96 hours. You will be given a complimentary Aftercare Kit of skincare products to expedite the healing process for ideal results.
